The National Purple Heart Hall Of Honor:

      Visitors to The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor can explore a database of hundreds of recipient interviews that were shot by The Magic Lantern over a seven year period beginning in 2000. Organized into three themed mini-theaters—Those Who Were Wounded, Those Who Died and Those Who Lived—the database includes veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Iraq. The software allows the visitor to search by recipient name, conflict, and/or service. The search is conducted on the 14” touchscreen in the foreground and the selected interviews play on the 40” wall mounted LCD in high definition video. Magic Lantern created the custom search software that includes an administration screen allowing the museum staff to add new interviews as they become available. Magic Lantern also did the audio/visual installation.
